paint correction before and after

Paint Correction And Detailing

Our paint correction packages are designed to bring life and value back to your vehicle’s paintwork. Using specialty tools, products and advanced techniques, we are able permanently rectify paint defects such as swirl marks, scratches, water spot etchings, bird poo etchings and other various defects via machine paint correction stages. By removing defects in your paintwork, we are also dramatically increasing the gloss, clarity and depth. The reflectivity will make you fall in love with your car all over again. Metallic flake will shine brighter than it left the factory and the high gloss finish will be admired by all.

Suitable for those who are looking to enhance the paintwork and overall presentation of their car for their own enjoyment, or for those looking to add value in preparation for a sale. As you don’t get a second chance at a first impression, it is extremely important that your vehicle presents well, inside and out, for prospective buyers.

The Process

  • We spend as much time as necessary just walking around the car with you to determine the true condition of the vehicle. We identify the types of defects, their severity and also key areas that may need special attention. We determine what stages of paint correction are suitable during this inspection.

  • All exterior areas are thoroughly and safely cleaned. From inner wheel barrels, brake calipers, wheel arch liners and door jambs. This stage ensures all loose dirt and grime is safely removed without inflicting any damage to the vehicle.

  • We use a combination of chemical and mechanical decontamination processes to remove embedded dirt, tar and environmental fallout. This stage is crucial as any contamination can interfere with the machine paint correction stages.

  • This is where the magic happens. We perform our paint correction in stages (1, 2, 3 etc). Each stage of paint correction is able to remove deeper, more severe defects. Generally, a 1 stage paint correction is suited to new/er cars. A 3-stage paint correction is suited to older/used cars with heavy swirl marks and other defects. As we work through each stage of paint correction, we are constantly measuring the thickness of the paint before and after, to ensure the safest paint correction possible.

  • The condition and finish of paintwork can look different in different lighting situations. What may appear flawless under one light, may actually be riddled with defects under another. With an alcohol solution, we are able to remove any and all polishing residue from the paintwork to reveal the true finish. After inspecting every inch of the paintwork with the appropriate lighting, we can assure the quality and true finish of our paint correction.

  • - Interior vacuum and wipe down

    - Glass clean

    - Exhaust tip carbon removal

    - Tyres dressed

  • Once we reveal a flawless finish, we want to protect and lock it in with a paintwork ceramic coating. This helps to maintain the finish for years. As opposed to a traditional wax or sealant which only lasts a few weeks to a few months, our ceramic coatings last for years. Providing scratch resistance, UV protection, chemical resistance, high gloss and a hydrophobic self-cleaning surface, this is what helps you maintain your paintwork effortlessly and ensure you get that new car feeling after every single wash, for years to come.

Interior Detailing And Protection

Interior detailing isn’t just about making the interior of your car look good. It serves a much deeper purpose than that. Our interior deep cleaning removes dirt, grime, stains, and most importantly, germs and bacteria. Studies have shown that the steering wheel in your car can be home to over 700 different types of bacteria. Many times more than a public toilet seat. Pretty disgusting, right? The same goes for all surfaces of your interior. Gear stick, controls, seats and floor mats. Whilst your interior may appear clean in terms of no loose dirt or dust, there is always non visible germs and bacteria lurking around. We generally don’t notice dirt and grime build up on things such as seats, especially if you have a dark coloured interior.

Upon an interior deep clean, we can then add on our interior protective coatings. These protective coatings are specifically designed for the various surfaces you find in your interior. Leather, suede, vinyl, plastic and fabric. Interior protection offers benefits such as UV protection from fading, dye transfer resistance and hydrophobic layers. Forming a hydrophobic layer on your seats and floor mats allows you to easily wipe up any liquid spills.

The Process

  • We inspect all areas of the interior for the level of dirt, grime, stains etc., and then carefully inspect the gaps and crevices. This is where we usually find additional time required. Any sensitive materials such as suede and alcantara are noted as they need safe and careful techniques to deep clean and not damage the material.

  • We start with an initial vacuum to remove the loose dirt. Things such as pet hair require special tools to thoroughly remove when embedded deep into fabric and fibres.

Hard surfaces are also wiped down and dusted, paying special attention to areas such as air vents, cup holders, trays etc.

  • Once all the loose dirt and dust is removed, we can begin with the deep cleaning processes.

We use a combination of chemicals and machines to remove the embedded dirt, grime, stains, odors and bacteria from your seats, floor mats and other hard surfaces.

  • Once the interior is completely deep cleaned, we can apply our interior protective coatings.
